This flashy little vessel represents the quintessential results from the wood-soda firing process. Red and brown flashing transitions to a mottled glassy grey surface showing layers of green and yellow glass from the soda process. This piece was not glazed before firing, the surface is entirely due to the firing process and soda deposited on the piece.

note: while the unlgazed interior can feel somewhat dry and/or rough, the clay did get hot enough to vitrify and will hold water
