Wood-soda fired in a catenary arch kiln for 34 hours, this little treasure showcases dramatic flashing from the flame path resulting in a varied matte and glossy surface. A subtle metallic ombre circles the base of the piece, and the light grey soda of the bottom echoes that on the shoulder. Subtle throwing rings are highlighted by the soda deposited during the firing process.

note: while the unlgazed interior can feel somewhat dry and/or rough, the clay did get hot enough to vitrify and will hold water
